Intimacy Coordination
As a Consent-Forward Artist certified through Intimacy Directors and Coordinators, I am equipped to help small-scale productions work with actors and performers to establish boundaries, choreograph scenes, and mediate conversations.
Keynotes & Workshops
My academic training and research expertise have prepared me to give public lectures on topics such as contemporary visual and performing art, popular culture and entertainment, sexual cultures, and queer cinema. I am also available for workshops that combine this knowledge with my training as a facilitator and community organizer.
Curation & Criticism
My work as a scholar-artist is evident in my curation of events and experiences that call audiences to engage with the transformative potential of the arts. This includes film series, listening sessions, and arts education that pair experiences with discussion and critical feedback. I also write reviews and criticism on exhibitions, films, and cultural events across the Americas.
Translation
With over a decade of experience conducting ethnographic research in Brazil, I am fluent in Brazilian Portuguese. I am available for translations of websites, short-form publications (e.g. blogs, reviews, news articles), and other writing that would benefit from culturally-informed translation (i.e. writings that use Black, queer, and/or trans forms of speech).
